Description of Services: Criminal justice program
  • assessments, treatment planning and follow-up to individuals that the crown approves for diversion
  • mental health consultation is provided to individuals referred via the courts who do not meet the diversion mandate
  • discharge planning services are offered to mentally disordered offenders
  • short and long-term case management
  • anger management groups are provided on an ongoing basis 

Fees: Free
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adult residents who have acute or chronic symptoms of a serious mental illness who have committed a class 1 or minor class 2 offence
Application: Self-refer or be referred by a third party * all referrals for psychiatric consultation must be from a family physician * clients must participate in a standardized Central Intake assessment to become clients
