Assesses eligibility for diversion from criminal charges because of mental health conditions Information to the accused, family members, judges, crown, and defence attorneys regarding general court procedures and specific mental health issues * prepares diversion plan in consultation with client and works with the crown attorney to have a plan approved * case management and other forms of support for the accused * a completed mental health diversion plan results in a stay of the charges |
